Online Activation

After installation, your new program must be activated. The following instructions will step you through the simple activation process. You will need your Serial Number (found on the package). If you purchased multiple seats, they will all use the same Serial Number. Activation can be accomplished on line or off line via fax or by mail. On line activation is the simplest, so let’s begin there.

The first time you boot the program, after installation, you will see the Activation screen Please make a note of the Request Number, it is unique to each computer. Now click the blue URL link to connect online. After you have reached the On Line Activation page:

1. Enter your Serial Number and click Submit.
2. Now, fill out the registration form and click Continue.
   Note, the required fields are in red but it is important, if you are installing in a school, that we have the school name and address for licensing purposes, updates and additional seat purchases. If you are activating multiple seats, you will only see this form once per serial number.
3. The program will automatically enter your Request Number.
4. The Activation Number for your installation will now be generated and displayed on screen. Copy it to your clipboard (Open Apple C on Mac, Control C on PC) or write it down and close the browser window.
5. You will now be returned to the On-Line Activation Panel. Paste (Open Apple V on Mac, Control V on PC) your Activation Number into the box and click Activate Now.
   That’s it! Your program is now activated.
   Follow the same steps for each computer in a multiple seat installation.

Off Line Activation

To activate off line, simply click the Activate Later button on the On-Line Activation panel and click the Register Off Line Now button. PC Users, please write your Request Number(s) on the form. Mac Users, the program will automatically enter your first Request Number. Fill out the form. When finished, click the Print button and a hard copy of your activation details will be generated. For multiple seat installations, install the program in each machine and make a note of each Request Number on the printed sheet.

We will fax or mail back your Activation Number(s) within 48 hours and you will be able to match them to each machine by looking at the Request Number on the Activation screen. When you receive an Activation Number, type it into the box on the Activation screen and click Activate Now.
