NEW Hybrid Windows XP/Vista and Mac OS X Native
Optimum Resource is proud to announce the first group of programs available in Mac OS X Native format. The titles listed below are now shipping and more will be added throughout the year.
The programs may be installed to either Windows XP/Vista or Mac OS X machines, or any combination. For example, you may install a six seat lab pack to 4 Windows and 2 Mac computers using the same serial number.
The OS X versions are designed to run on a PowerPC G3, G4, G5 or Intel based Macintosh computer with OS X v.10.4 and above, 256MB RAM and from 150 to 260MB of hard drive space available (depending on the program).
The programs install on the hard drive and, after activation, the CD is no longer needed.

Windows
XP and 2000 Patch
Microsoft
protections in the Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems prevented
user without administrative privileges from utilizing any program which
needed access to the CD-Rom drive to run, stopping students from effectively
using our CD based programs. This easy to install patch will allow non-administrative
users to access the CD-Rom drive.
Simply download the patch.exe file here and run it while you are logged on as administrator, you will see a box
flash on your screen; the installation is complete.
Once installed, patch.exe works for all Optimum Resource titles. Note:
unless you are using one of our Direct Drive Titles, the program CD will
still have to be in the CD-Rom drive for operation. |
